Synchro of the Year celebrates excellence in collaborations between music creation and audiovisual production. This award highlights the emotional and narrative impact of music on screen by jointly rewarding the talents behind both image and sound.
Concept & Grants
A jury of industry experts awards five Synchros of the Year. To fairly recognize the work from both fields, two distinct grants are awarded for each selected sync:
- One grant for the audiovisual production team
- One grant for the music rights holders
The People’s Choice Award
In addition to the jury’s selection, the shortlisted works will be submitted to a viewer vote for the People’s Choice Award, which offers an additional grant to the fan-favorite project.
Eligibility Criteria
Projects can be submitted by professionals from either the audiovisual or music sectors. Eligible formats: Feature films, TV series, documentaries, trailers, opening/ending credits, commercials, and video games.
